More on Animoto

As promised, here is a link to our classroom blog!

We’ve sorted out the security issues, and we’re up and running. This week students are working on a second Animoto Video. This time they are creating a video about how they use math in everyday life. We decided to have them do a second video immediately to help students who are less familiar with the app and using iPads to cement their new skills. We also wanted to give them a chance to immediately follow up on their reflections from last week that included their thoughts on how they might improve future videos.

After this, we are hoping that students will have developed not only the technical skills to create Animoto videos quickly and easily, but will also begin to think about the connections between reflections on improvements and setting goals for future work.
